The old Busselton aerodrome
has been closed for some years, and a new Busselton Airport has been built some
miles to the southeast. The rapidly growing suburbs of Busselton have encroached
on the old airstip, taking away a long stretch of the northern end of the north-south
runway, as well as the diagonal grass runway which joined it (the green diagonal
